Parish Choir

Worship

Participation in the choir is an excellent opportunity to return to God your time and talents, learn about music and worship, and deepen your lived faith. The Parish Choir is a volunteer ensemble welcoming to all who love music and wish to minister through it. All that is needed is the time to attend rehearsals and services, and a willingness to come and learn. This choir sings regularly for the 11:00am service and other services, September through May.  Rehearsals are Wedesday nights, 7:00-8:30pm; and the choir warms-up on Sunday mornings at 9:20am to sing for the 11:00am service.

Leadership in worship through music builds an understanding of the patterns, theology, and history of our liturgical heritage. Those with a love of music-making get to engage in it in a specifically Christian context, with a broad array of musical traditions from the whole of Church history. And participation in the Parish Choir is a great way to meet other people in the church who share a passion for worship, music, and liturgy.
