The Reverend Steve Ferguson

Associate Rector for Pastoral Care

Prior to joining the staff of St. Dunstan’s in January of this year, Fr. Steve Ferguson was the Manager of Mission Integration, Spiritual Care, and Volunteers at St. Luke’s Hospital in The Vintage.  During his thirty-plus years in the Diocese of Texas, he has also served at Christ Church in Temple, St. Luke’s on the Lake in Austin, and as Rector of Holy Comforter Episcopal Church in Spring. Besides St. Luke’s, Fr. Steve has been a chaplain at Seton Medical Center in Austin and at Scott and While Hospital in Temple. He is a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC), a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains, the Assembly of Episcopal Healthcare Chaplains, and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation.

An avid motorcyclist, he has also served as the chaplain for the Shepherds on Steel Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Palmer Drug Abuse Program (PDAP).  A long-time member of St. Dunstan’s, Fr. Steve is married to Bonnie, and, between them, they have five grown children, eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. They reside in Tomball with their sweet Golden Retriever, Nala.
