Rooted in Faith, Growing in Community...

God Sightings- everyday clues that God is present, passionate and powerful have been a significant experience for our children and the adults this week through their journey of Vacation Bible School. God sightings are an acknowledgement that God is present and doing something in our everyday life. Our children and adults have discovered that they can see God in Scripture, people, circumstances and in nature. When we see God at work, our faith and trust in God grows. It fosters a God-focused view of the world nurturing hearts of gratitude for all that we share together.

Some of the key learnings for this week are so very good for us all to experience:God is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes.(Nahum 1:7). Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me.(Psalm 23:4).Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. (Psalm 106:1). The Lord is close to the broken-hearted. (Psalm 34.18). Remember the Lord, who is great and glorious. (Nehemiah 4:14).

As we celebrate the doctrine of the Holy Trinity today may we find unity with one another as we have sightings of God in our shared life together here at St. Dunstan's!!
